Tasmanian Women in Agriculture

Tasmanian Women in Agriculture is non-political, non-government and very grassTasmanian Women in Agriculture roots.  We're not bound by an organisational structure or hierarchy.  Our greatest asset is our ability to respond to the opportunities and issues affecting farming families.  We operate at all levels and have a state project officer (appointed by Tasmanian Government) and are increasingly having input into agricultural policy and practice in Tasmania.

It's an exciting and growing organisation where you can come along to a regular group meeting.  Meetings are both social and educational.  We are mothers, wives, partners in farms, managers of agribusinesses and many of us work in town.  We have links with agriculture with the special lifestyle and problems affecting farming families.  See our website for information and events.
