AWiA Email Forum

Email forums

The AWiA Forum (forum) is an email discussion forum. It is a highly interactive online exchange of members ideas and topics of interest. Members are invited to participate in the AWiA forum at the time of joining AWiA and can opt out at anytime.

The forum is available only to AWiA members via forum@awia.org.au. The forum only allows registered members to send and receive emails from the forum, this is co-ordinated by the administration manager who adds and deletes members from the forum list. This also protects against unauthorised access and spamming.

Aim of Forum

The aim of the forum is to encourage communication of ideas and issues of relevance that reflect the core principles and values of AWiA, namely:

  • Uniting and raising the profile of women in Agriculture;
  • Addressing rural and agricultural inequities;
  • Working to ensure the survival of agriculture for future generations;
  • Securing local, regional, national and international recognition;
  • Achieving the status of a political and economic force.

Reference Groups email discussion lists

Specific email discussion lists have been established for each of the seven national reference groups. These discussion lists are only available to members of the reference groups.

Any AWiA member is encouraged to join a group that may be of interest. More information about the reference groups is available through here.
