Tour 2 - Local Flavours Trail
Explore the flavours, stories, and ingenuity of the Orange NSW region through visits to standout local producers. At CharLou Wines, meet the makers behind a boutique label crafting elegant cool-climate wines that reflect the unique character and growing reputation of the Central West wine region. Hear about the journey of building a premium regional brand and the opportunities emerging through direct consumer connection and agritourism. Hear from Second Mouse Cheese Co, one of the region’s most celebrated artisan cheeseries, renowned for its small-batch craftsmanship, traditional techniques and commitment to sourcing quality local milk. The tour also includes Hayshed Weddings, a beautifully restored rural venue that has successfully diversified from agriculture into the thriving events and wedding sector.
